Guide to Creating a New Product in Hashio
1. Navigate to Products Page 0:00
Open the Hashio application.
Click on the 'Products' option in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Add a New Product 0:10
On the Products list page, click the 'Add Product' button located at the top right.
3. Fill in Product Details 0:18
Enter the product name (e.g., 'New Demo').
Associate licenses relevant to your facility.
Set the current inventory level (e.g., 100 units).
Define the low inventory threshold (e.g., 20 units).
4. Additional Product Information 0:37
Provide an abbreviation for the product.
Upload an image if desired.
Add an external link for ordering (e.g., Amazon link).
Enter SKU and UPC codes.
5. Pricing and Cost Information 1:11
Specify the sales price per unit.
Enter the cost of the product.
6. Define Units and Vendor Information 1:22
Set the default unit of measurement (e.g., gallons).
Input the vendor item number for ordering.
Specify how the product is ordered (e.g., cases, boxes, pallets).
7. Specify Conversion and Weight Details 1:42
Enter the conversion rate for units per case.
Provide the weight and volume of the product, including units.
8. Cannabis-Specific Information (if applicable) 2:03
If the product is cannabis-related, check the 'Is Cannabis' option.
Fill in relevant details such as THC content and labeling percentages.

Add workflow details, category, and subcategory if applicable.
Specify metric category and strain name for cannabis items.
Link to brand and vendor if relevant.

Click 'Push Changes to Metrics' to create the item in Metric.
Alternatively, click 'Save' to go to the product detail page for further linking with QuickBooks or Apex items.
