How to Use Lab Tests in Hashio

Before you begin:  You must have Labs access enabled in your Hashio user permissions to view this page. All lab test data is synced automatically from METRC — no manual entry is required.

What are Lab Tests in Hashio?

The Lab Tests page is your central hub for viewing all lab test results associated with your facility. Each row in the list represents a single tested package and displays key details including the source package, product, license, production batch, testing facility, test date, and overall pass or fail status.

Lab test data is accessible in three places: the Testing snapshot on the Production Today dashboard, the Labs module in the left navigation under Compliance, and the Lab Results tab on individual Batch pages. All data syncs directly from METRC — results appear automatically when your testing facility submits them.

Step 1 Navigate to the Labs Module
  1. In the left sidebar, locate Labs.
  2. Click Labs to open the Lab Tests page.

The Lab Tests page displays all tests synced from METRC for your license(s). The total count reflects the number of packages your facility has submitted for testing.

Step 2 Understand the Lab Tests List

Each row represents a single tested package. The following columns are available:

ColumnDescription
Source PackageThe METRC source tag for the batch
ProductMetrc Product name
LicenseLicense number associated with the test
Production BatchThe production batch number from METRC
Testing FacilityThe lab that conducted the testing
Test DateDate the test was conducted
Overall PassedPass/Fail status badge — green for Passed, red for Failed

Click any column header to sort the list by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Step 3 Search and Filter Your Tests

Use the search and filter tools at the top of the page to find specific tests.

Search by batch or tag:

  1. Type a production batch number or METRC tag into the left search bar.

Search by product name:

  1. Type a product name into the right search bar (Product Name).

Filter by other criteria:

  1. Click the Filters button to expand the filter panel.
  2. Use any combination of the available filter options to refine your results.
FilterWhat it does

Step 4 View Individual Test Results

Click any row in the Lab Tests list to open the full test detail panel for that package.

Full Page buttonOpens the same view in a larger, full-screen layout

Any failed tests are automatically sorted to the top of the detail table so compliance issues are immediately visible.

? Tip:  Sort the Result Level column to bring non-zero values to the top and quickly see which analytes were detected. Use the search bar to filter by analyte name (e.g., type "CBN" to show only CBN results). Sort by the Comment column to group results that have lab notes together.
Step 5 Access Lab Results from the Batch Page

Lab test data is also available directly on any Batch page, so you can review compliance status without leaving your batch workflow.

Lab Status Badge:

When viewing a batch, a Lab status badge appears at the top of the page next to the batch completion status:

  • Lab: Passed — displayed in green when all tests have passed
  • Lab: Failed — displayed in red when one or more tests have failed

Lab Results Tab:

A Lab Results tab has been added to the batch page tab bar. Click it to see all tests associated with that batch:

ColumnDescription
Batch TagThe METRC tag linked as a production output/yield
Source PackageThe source package tag from METRC
Testing TagThe METRC testing package tag
ProductFull product name and manifest number
Production BatchThe production batch identifier
# ResultsTotal number of individual test results
Overall PassedPass/Fail status badge for this batch

Click any row in the Lab Results tab to open the full test detail view — the same panel available in the Labs module.

Step 6 Use the Dashboard Testing Snapshot

The Production Today dashboard includes a Testing snapshot showing a real-time summary of your lab testing status.

To adjust the date range:

  1. Click the date filter dropdown next to the Testing heading.
  2. Select 1d, 7d, 30d, or enter a Custom date.

Status Cards (appear only when count > 0):

  • Test Passed — packages with all tests passing (green)
  • Test Failed — packages with one or more failed tests (red)
  • Submitted for Testing — packages submitted but not yet processed
  • Testing In Progress — packages currently being tested by the lab

Click any card's number to open a list of packages in that status. Filter by license using the tabs at the top, and click any package to open its full test detail view.

Unsubmitted Production Batches:

A separate card shows production batches that have been packaged but not yet submitted for lab testing. Click the number to view tag details with package date and testing state. These packages do not have test results yet — this card is a tracker for batches that still need to go to the lab.

⏳ Coming Soon — PDF Certificate of Analysis (COA) Download

A future update will add the ability to import and download PDF Certificates of Analysis (COAs) directly within Hashio, so you can access and share official lab documentation without leaving the platform.
