Using Workstation Beta — For Associates

Before you begin:  You'll need a Workstation PIN and an active Hashio account before you can sign in. If you don't have a PIN yet, ask your supervisor.

What is Workstation Beta?

Workstation Beta is your home base on the floor. It lets you sign in quickly on a shared tablet, see the work that's in front of you, and track your time and outputs on a batch without any extra paperwork.

Instead of bouncing between screens, you'll use one simple view to hash in when you start working, log what you produce, take breaks, flag issues, and hash out when you're done.

What is a Working Location?

A Working Location is a physical area in your facility — for example, a kitchen, a flower room, or a packaging station. Your supervisor sets these up so the workstation tablet in that area only shows the work happening there. You may see your location name at the top of the screen when you sign in.

Step 1  Sign In to the Workstation
  1. The workstation tablet should already be open to the Workstation Beta screen when you arrive. If it isn't, grab your supervisor.
  2. If the tablet is assigned to a location, you'll see a Quick Access list of teammates who work in that area. Tap your name and enter your PIN.

No Quick Access? Tap PIN sign-in and enter your PIN directly.

  1. Once you're signed in, you'll land on your workstation home screen.
Tip:  If your name doesn't appear in Quick Access, you can always sign in with your PIN. Let your supervisor know so they can add you to the right group.

Step 2  Find Your Work

At the top of your home screen, you will see three summary cards that give you a quick look at your day. Click these cards to pull up additional details.

  1. Today — shows the hours you've hashed in for today and your current status (working, on break, or hashed out).
  2. Today's Output — shows the total outputs you've logged across all your worklogs today, so you can see your progress at a glance.
  3. Your Tasks — shows tasks assigned specifically to you that still need attention.
  4. Below the cards, use the tabs to browse the work available in your area — batches, steps, and tasks that are ready to be worked.

Not sure what something means? Tap How does this work? on the screen for a plain-language explanation. It's always there when you need it.

Step 3  Hash In to Your Work
  1. Find the batch or step you're about to work on.
  2. Tap Hash In. This starts your timer on that work and adds it to your Active Worklog banner at the top of the screen.

You can be hashed in on one batch at a time. Hash out first if you need to switch.

Step 4  While You're Working

Your Active Worklog banner stays at the top of the screen. Use these buttons anytime while you are working:

  1. Log Output — record what you've produced so far without hashing out.
  2. Break — tap to start a break; tap again to resume. Your timer pauses so your hours stay accurate.
  3. Issue — flag a problem with the batch (equipment, materials, quality, etc.). Pick the issue type and add a short note so your supervisor can help.
  4. View Batch — open the full batch to see the workflow, steps, materials, and past worklogs. A holistic view can help when you need more context.
Tip:  Logging outputs as you go — instead of all at once at the end — keeps the numbers accurate and makes it easier for your supervisor to follow along.

Step 5  Hash Out When You're Done
  1. When you're done with the work, tap Hash Out on your Active Worklog banner.
  2. Enter your final output for that work before you hash out. This closes your worklog and stops your timer.

Forgot to hash out? Your supervisor can hash you out from the View Activity page if needed.

That's it — sign in, hash in, do your thing, hash out. If anything looks off or you get stuck, flag an issue or grab your supervisor. The workstation is designed to keep your job simple so you can focus on the work, not the system.
