Navigating the New Harvests Page

Before you begin: Your harvests sync automatically from Metrc into Hashio. This guide is a tour of the redesigned Harvests page and the new harvest detail screen. The actions you can start from here — harvesting, manicuring, and creating packages — each have their own step-by-step guide.

What’s new on the Harvests page?

The Harvests page has been redesigned so everything about your harvests lives in one place: a cleaner list up front, quick actions along the top, and a richer detail screen when you open a harvest. This guide walks you through the layout so you know where everything is. For full instructions on the actions you can take here, see the separate guides on starting a harvest or manicure and on creating a package.

The Harvests List

When you open the page, you’ll see every harvest in your facility in one list.

Step 1 Open the Harvests page

In the left navigation, click Cultivation, then Harvests.

Each row is a harvest. The columns show the key details at a glance — Name, Strain, Batch, Type, Harvest Start, Plant Count, Current Weight, Location, Lab State, and Cost / plant. Use the filters and search bar above the list to narrow it down.

Step 2 Quick actions along the top

The buttons in the top-right corner let you start common tasks without leaving the page:

Button	What it does
Start harvest	Begins a new harvest from your tagged plants. Covered in its own guide.
Start manicure	Records a trimmed harvest while the plant keeps growing. Covered in its own guide.
Sync	Pulls the latest harvest data from Metrc.
Columns	Choose which columns appear in the list.

Step 3 Select harvests to take action

Check the box on the left of one or more harvests.
A toolbar appears showing how many you’ve selected, with two options:

Create package — combines the selected harvests into a single Metrc package. See the Harvest packaging guide for the full steps.
View analytics — opens Harvest Analytics for the selected harvests. See the Harvest Analytics guide.

Click Clear to deselect everything and hide the toolbar.

The Harvest Detail Screen

Click any harvest name to open its detail screen. Across the top are summary cards, and below them are four tabs that break the harvest down further.

Step 4 Read the summary cards

The cards along the top give you the key numbers at a glance:

Card	What it shows
Plant count	How many plants were harvested.
Current weight	Weight currently drying.
Wet weight	Total wet weight recorded at harvest.
Waste weight	Total waste recorded.
Packaged weight	Weight that has been packaged.
Total cost	The full cost of the harvest, with cost per plant beneath it.

Step 5 Explore the four tabs

Tab	What you’ll find
Overview	Strain, drying location, license, type, batch, harvest start date, lab testing state, and hold status.
Plants	Every plant in the harvest, with its tag, state, growth phase, strain, and location.
Cost	A full cost breakdown and your cost source (explained below).
Yields	The products produced from this harvest, with their type and cost.

Understanding Your Cost Source

The Cost tab is where the biggest change lives. Alongside the cost breakdown (total cost, labor, materials, labor hours, cost per plant, and cost per gram), you’ll find a Cost source section. Hashio can cost a harvest in two ways, and this section shows both side by side. It automatically defaults to whichever method the harvest is already drawing its cost from.

Batch rollup (the traditional method). If the harvest is tied to a batch — the traditional method of tracking materials and yields at the batch level — the Cost source defaults to that batch and shows its cost here, labeled “Batch.”

Plant-based cost. If the harvest’s costs are instead coming in at the plant level — the labor, materials, and additives tracked on each individual plant — the Cost source defaults to that cumulative plant-based total instead.

Whichever way it defaults, the other method is shown beside it as a shadow figure so you can compare. To change which one the harvest uses, click Use plant-based cost. This recomputes the harvest’s cost from the plant level and freezes the plants’ accrued cost into it, so it’s worth comparing the two figures first.
