Account Guide
How to Update Your Workstation PIN
| Before you begin: You will need to be signed in to Hashio on a computer or tablet. If you have forgotten your PIN and cannot sign in at a workstation, ask your supervisor to reset it for you — see the “For Supervisors” section at the end of this guide. |
What is a Workstation PIN?
Your Workstation PIN is a short number you use to sign in quickly on the shared tablets and computers at your facility. Instead of typing your email and password every time, you just enter your PIN and get to work.
You set your PIN when you first created your Hashio account. You can change it at any time — for example, if you forgot it, if someone else learned it, or if you just want something easier to remember.
| Step 1 Open Your Profile Settings |
This opens your Profile Settings page, where you can update your name, photo, and PIN. |
| Step 2 Change Your PIN |
Pick a number you will remember but others will not easily guess. Your phone number works well — it is easy to remember and quick to type.
|
| Heads up: After clicking Submit, you may see a message that says “This PIN is already being used in the facility.” This is a known display issue and does not mean anything went wrong. Your new PIN has been saved. |
| Step 3 Sign In With Your New PIN |
If your new PIN does not work, go back to your Profile Settings and check that it saved correctly, or ask your supervisor for help. |
| Tip: Keep your PIN to yourself. Your PIN is tied to your name, so anything done at a workstation while signed in with it — like hashing in or logging work — is recorded as you. |
For Supervisors: Resetting a Team Member’s PIN
If an associate forgot their PIN and cannot sign in to change it themselves, a supervisor or admin can help from the Team Members page.
| Step 1 Reset or Reveal a Team Member’s PIN |
Once they are signed in, encourage them to change the PIN to something only they know by following Steps 1 and 2 above. |
That is it! Updating your PIN takes less than a minute, and it keeps your sign-in quick and your work tracked correctly. If you have questions or run into anything unexpected, reach out to the Hashio support team — we are happy to help.
